Minister Fatima Al-Rashid has spearheaded the Gulf region's strategic pivot towards millet-based food security, championing controlled environment agriculture using millets as a pathway to reducing the region's 90% food import dependency. She chairs the GCC Food Security Committee and is the architect of the Gulf Millet Strategy 2030.
