The significance of millets in India has been steadily increasing in recent times. These grains are known for their health benefits and their ability to help control various diseases. To provide comprehensive information about millets, Google, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare of India, has launched a digital exhibition titled "Millets: Seeds of Change."

The event saw participation from Manoj Ahuja, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, and Amit Sood, Director of Google Arts and Culture. Amit Sood emphasized that millets would play a crucial role globally in the future.

Speaking at the event, Manoj Ahuja highlighted that India is leading the way in promoting millets as a global food champion. The Indian government has already initiated the free distribution of millet seeds to farmers. Additionally, efforts are being made to promote millets extensively around the world.

The newly launched Millets Digital Exhibition by Google can be viewed on the Google Arts and Culture website. The exhibition features a wealth of information about the history, evolution, and culinary uses of millets.
