A new food-tech startup called Millwize was launched during AAHAR 2026, one of India’s major food and hospitality exhibitions. The startup focuses on promoting healthy, millet-based foods and aims to provide better nutritional choices for consumers who are looking for natural and wholesome products.
The company was founded by Divyashikha Gupta along with strategic partner S. Venkateswaran. Millwize is working on developing innovative food products made from traditional grains such as jowar, bajra, and ragi. The team also includes a millet scientist who supports research and product development, and the company is currently exploring dozens of new product ideas.
The brand has introduced its first range of millet-based snacks, including cookies and bite-sized treats. These products are sweetened using natural ingredients like dates and jaggery. They are designed to be gluten-free and do not contain refined sugar, maida, palm oil, trans fats, or artificial colours and flavours, making them a healthier option for modern consumers.
Millwize plans to sell its products mainly through a direct-to-consumer platform and gradually expand to e-commerce and quick-commerce channels such as Amazon and Flipkart. In the future, the company also aims to launch a wider range of millet-based ready-to-eat, ready-to-cook, and ready-to-drink products to encourage healthier eating habits.
