APEDA led India’s participation at the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) in London last week, organizing a delegation of 16 exporters from Gujarat, Punjab, Telangana, Haryana, Maharashtra, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. The event provided a platform to showcase India's rich agricultural and processed food offerings, with APEDA hopeful of securing business deals based on the keen interest shown by importers.
India’s display featured a diverse selection of organic products, millets, mangoes, guavas, and pomegranates, emphasizing the country’s strength in fresh and healthy produce. The exhibition aimed to promote India’s agricultural exports and highlight its commitment to quality and sustainability in global markets.
In addition to fresh produce, a premium assortment of processed foods and Indian liquors—including Rampur, Sula, Godawan, Old Monk Coffee, Jamun Gin, and Jaisalmer Gin—drew significant attention from visitors. These offerings underscored India's expanding presence in the global food and beverage industry, reflecting both tradition and innovation, an official noted.
