Ukraine has achieved a significant milestone with the commencement of organic millet exports to the United States, facilitated by the diligent certification efforts of Organic Standard, a prominent certification company. This achievement was publicly announced via Facebook by Organic Standard, emphasizing the strict adherence of Ukrainian millet products to the rigorous COR (Canadian Organic Regime) standard.
Central to this export process is the issuance of an additional certificate through the Integrity electronic system, specifically tailored for imports into the US market. This certificate validates that Ukrainian organic farming practices and standards closely align with those upheld in both Canada and the United States. Such alignment is pivotal as it ensures that the millet products meet the stringent organic requirements mandated by these countries, thereby enabling seamless entry into their markets.
Organic Standard underscored the significance of these exports as a practical demonstration of regulatory equivalence.
