Bank of India Organizes Special Camps for KCC Farmers with Loan Benefits

Bank of India, Ranchi Zone, is organizing special camps for Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holder farmers on January 16, 23, 27, and 29, 2025, at 86 rural and semi-urban branches under its "Pay Loan and Get Loan" scheme. These camps aim to settle NPA KCC accounts older than 10 years with significant waivers of 2.5% to 90% through the Star Sanjeevani scheme. Additionally, eligible farmers can receive new KCC loans up to ₹3 lakh at a 0% interest rate, with loans up to ₹2 lakh offered without mortgage and ₹2–3 lakh with mortgage.

To benefit from 0% interest, farmers must deposit the full amount, including interest, at least once annually for one day. Settling old accounts will grant "No Dues" certificates, facilitating new KCC loan approval. The scheme aims to waive 70% to 90% of loans for about 50,000 farmers. Eleven successful camps were organized on January 9, 2025. Bank of India encourages farmers to participate by visiting their respective branches.
