A seminar titled “Millets for Health and a Sustainable Planet” was held at Boys High School Tujjar Sharief, Zone Dangerpora, in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The event aimed to raise awareness about the benefits of millets and sustainable practices. Alongside the seminar, a scientific model exhibition was organized, allowing students to present innovative projects on various themes related to sustainability and modern challenges.

The event was attended by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Dangerpora, Mohd Akbar Wani, along with science teachers from different schools. Shahmeema Begum, Head of High School Tujar, and Coordinator Syed Rashidplayed a key role in leading the program with the support of the zonal education team. Their collective efforts focused on encouraging students to explore scientific solutions that contribute to a healthier planet.

A highlight of the event was the scientific model exhibition, where students displayed creative prototypes addressing real-world issues. After careful evaluation, several outstanding models were selected for the district-level competition. These included the Resource Management Model (Higher Secondary School Bomai), Hi-Tech Agriculture Model (High Field Scientific School Dangerpora), Road Snow Melting for Transport and Communication (Higher Secondary School Dangerpora), Natural Farming Model (Government Higher Secondary School Bomai), and Computational Thinking Prototype (High Field Scientific School Dangerpora).
