IIMR Honors DOFPCL CEO for Advancing Millet Farming and Seed Preservation

Devullu, CEO of Dimsa Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited (DOFPCL) in Visakhapatnam, has been recognized by the Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad, for his exceptional efforts in millet cultivation. He received an award for achieving high yields through sustainable farming practices at the Millet Farmers Kisan Mela held in Hyderabad on March 3 and 4.

DOFPCL is dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering small and marginal farmers. Under Mr. Devullu's leadership, the organization has encouraged eco-friendly farming methods that improve soil health, reduce chemical dependency, and enhance crop productivity. His commitment to natural farming has played a key role in improving millet cultivation practices in the region.

In addition to his farming initiatives, Mr. Devullu has actively worked to preserve indigenous seed varieties. He established a dedicated seed bank that safeguards traditional desi seeds, ensuring their availability for future generations.
