The Krishi Mela 2025 will be held at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Mandya for the first time, moving from its usual venue in Bengaluru. The event is expected to attract more than 5 lakh visitors.
The mela will feature over 350 stalls showcasing new crop varieties, including millets, seeds, modern farming tools, and agricultural technologies. Farmers will also see demonstrations of advanced farming methods and sustainable practices, including millet cultivation techniques.
Farmers from nearby districts such as Mandya, Mysuru, Hassan, Kodagu, and Chamarajanagar are expected to attend. They will have the opportunity to meet experts, ask questions, and learn methods that can improve crop yields, reduce costs, and enhance the production of nutritious grains like millets.
The event aims to provide farmers with practical knowledge and resources, helping them adopt better farming practices, increase productivity, promote millets, and boost their incomes while keeping up with the latest agricultural innovations.
