A Passionate Mission
Aanchal launched Mad Over Millets during the COVID-19 pandemic, identifying a gap in the market for healthy, tasty snacks. She turned to millets, a superfood packed with nutrients, and began experimenting to make them appealing to modern tastes.
Starting from her kitchen, Aanchal, with co-founder Himanshu Mishra, combined traditional Indian ingredients with modern flavors to create a fast-growing brand.
Building a Brand from the Ground Up
With limited resources, Aanchal used hard work and creativity to develop recipes that combined millets, spices, seeds, and Desi Ghee. She focused on educating consumers about the benefits of millets, leveraging social media and influencers.
In just one year, the brand achieved ₹50 lakh in sales, appealing to health-conscious consumers and fitness enthusiasts.
Expanding the Business
Aanchal aims to grow the business 5X in the second year with plans to expand into the Middle East, form corporate partnerships, and introduce single-serve packaging. Mad Over Millets is committed to eco-friendly farming and supporting local farmers.
