The Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, PAU, conducted a training session on Millet-Based Recipes for schoolchildren at Government Multipurpose Senior Secondary School, Lakkar Bazar, today. This initiative was organized under the All-India Coordinated Research Project on Women in Agriculture.

During the session, Dr. Rana demonstrated the preparation of two millet-based recipes: Roasted Millet Mix and Ragi Pinni. The participants were also provided with informative literature on the nutritional benefits of millets. Aditi Sewak and Shikha Sharma assisted in the session, helping to distribute materials and engage with the students.

This training not only highlighted the nutritional value of millets but also encouraged healthy, sustainable eating habits among the younger generation.
