Savor the Nutritional Delights of Our Millet Dosa!

 

Consuming dishes made from millets, ancient grains celebrated for their numerous health benefits, has garnered widespread acclaim. Among these nutritious offerings, the standout is the "millet dosa." Renowned for its delightful taste and significant health advantages, these dishes not only elevate flavor but also promote overall well-being.

Ingredients:

 1 cup sorghum

 1 cup finger millet

 1 cup pearl millet

 1 cup bajra

 1 cup green gram

 1 cup toor dal

 1 cup split yellow moong dal

 1 cup chickpeas

 1 cup urad dal

 4 cups rice

Preparation:

 To begin, soak one cup each of sorghum, finger millet, pearl millet, and bajra together for 10 to 12 hours. Similarly, soak green gram, toor dal, split yellow moong dal, chickpeas, urad dal, and rice. Once soaked, finely grind them in a mixer, adding enough water to achieve a dosa batter consistency. Season the batter with salt to taste and mix thoroughly.

Next, heat a dosa pan or griddle over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly in a circular motion. Drizzle oil around the edges of the dosa. Cook until the dosa becomes crispy and turns golden brown on both sides, flipping it once to ensure even cooking. Serve the hot and crispy dosas immediately.
